Data Protection (GDPR)

We appreciate your interest in our website. Protecting your privacy is extremely important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data. Ionsent attaches great importance to the careful handling of personal data. For this reason, Ionsent's data protection policy follows the principle of maintaining data secrecy and particularly emphasizes the protection of personal data.

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be processed for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) has security gaps that are still unknown. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible. The use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising being sent, such as spam e-mails.

Storage of access data in server log files

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We only store access data in so-called server log files, such as the name of the requested file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data is evaluated exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offer. A conclusion on your person does not take place. No personal data is processed through this website without your active involvement. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis and requires the active filling out and sending of a form. This data is only used for direct contact that you have expressly requested and will not be passed on to third parties.

Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a customer account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process the contract and to process your inquiries. After the contract has been completed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the tax, commercial or statutory retention periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have consented to further use of the data reserved, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you below. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or using a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

Data storage as part of an online order

We would like to point out that, for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing, the IP data of the connection owner is stored within the framework of cookies, as are the name, address and credit card number of the buyer.

The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. There is no data transmission to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations.

If the shopping process is aborted, we will not save any data. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the statutory retention periods have expired. The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the end of product liability (10 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfillment of the contract) of the GDPR.

Data transfer for the fulfillment of the contract

We use the data you provide to fulfill and process the order. In order to fulfill the contract, we pass on your delivery address to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. In order to process payments, we pass on the payment data required for this to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the ordering process.

Use of data when registering for the e-mail newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. If you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you in order to send you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can do so either by sending us a message, using the function in your customer account or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter.

Use of data for postal advertising and your right to object

In addition, we reserve the right to save your first and last name, your postal address and - insofar as we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship - your title, academic degree, your professional, industry or business name in summarized lists and to use it for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send interesting offers and information about our products by post. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

Use of cookies

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Cookies also enable you to seamlessly continue your last session on our website and also serve, among other things, as a security feature as part of your authentication and authorization. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Use of Google Analytics for web analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full.

Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website.

Right to information and contact options

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
